Restorative Yoga Workshop

During this 90-minute Restorative Yoga experience, you will be invited to step into physiological relaxation, mental calmness, and connected joy.

Restorative yoga is highly effective in releasing long-held tension in the body. During restorative yoga, the body is supported by blankets and other props to create an effortless posture in which the body can rest for longer periods of time. As each posture is settled into, muscles and connective tissue are able to open into new pathways. As the body settles into the posture, physical tension begins to dissolve, the mind may become more calm, and the nervous system is restored to its natural functioning. You may notice benefits such as feeling more peaceful, better sleep, reduction in digestive issues, or feeling more connected to yourself and others. The class will be accompanied by singing bowls for a sound bath experience. 

Restorative yoga is accessible to ALL participants, no experience is necessary. If you are not able to come down to a yoga mat, please notify the studio when you register.
