Michelle Rathburn

Michelle Rathburn, a southern California native was introduced to yoga in 2005 while living in the Pacific Northwest. As a beginner, learning the practice in a heated room she was challenged in ways that she never expected -which kept her returning with curiosity and openness to the mat. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and yoga student, Michelle continued to recognize the parallels between Yogic principles and Counseling Psychology, which both ultimately aim to improve wellness for the mind, body and spirit.

With an intention to grow personally and professionally, she completed her 200- hour yoga teacher training in 2022 through Meg Shuba’s Accredited Body Poetic Academy in 30A, Florida. Michelle received additional training in prenatal yoga to support maternal mental health throughout pregnancy. She strives to create a supportive and nurturing space for expectant mothers in her prenatal classes, fostering connection, well-being, and confidence as they prepare for childbirth and parenthood.

Michelle is passionate about teaching yoga to optimize mental, physical and emotional wellness. She designs her classes with a focus on mindful movement, and body and breath awareness.
